In a comprehensive branding process, positioning, vision, brand values, brand voice and brand design were rethought — and Spielmann set up as a brand that enables its customers one thing in particular: self-determination.
How do you build a brand for something that no one wants? In this case, however, this is not due to the product, but to the context.
People who need medical hair replacement are in challenging life situations and are confronted with emotions such as shame, overwhelming or uncertainty — and, in the worst case, with a serious health crisis. In addition, there are persistent prejudices that an entire industry is struggling with — when you hear a wig, you think of old-fashioned things that are revealed at first glance. Or even worse, on colorful carnival wigs.

The brand strategy positions Spielmann as an online practice that brings back a piece of quality of life to its customers with expertise and empathy.
Above all, we did one thing: listen carefully and read between the lines. Be it in discussions with the Spielmann family or in our research phase, during which we developed a deep understanding of those affected. Based on the market and target group insights gained, positioning, brand vision & mission, brand values and, based on this, brand voice, core messages and brand design were created with a modern visual, written and formal language.







The result: a strong brand, a brand book implemented with Webflow that enables consistency and stringency at all touchpoints with the Spielmann brand. And the basis for expanding and strengthening Spielmann's market presence in Germany and Austria.
